A. Camera & Sensor Data
To measure your pulse, HeartRate Guard uses your device's camera as a light sensor. Images are processed locally in real-time to estimate your heart rate and are deleted immediately after. We do not store, save, or transmit these images to any server. You can manage or revoke camera access at any time in your device settings.
B. Information You Provide
To provide personalized health insights, you may voluntarily provide information such as:
- Profile Details: Height, and weight.
- Manual Logs: Blood pressure readings, glucose levels, and activity notes.
- This data is stored securely on your local device to enhance your experience.
C. Automatically Collected Technical Data
To ensure app stability and a secure experience, we automatically collect certain technical data, including:
- Device identifiers (IDFA/AAID) and IP addresses.
- Operating system version and hardware model.
- App performance logs and crash reports.
2. How We Use the Information
We process your information for the following purposes:
- Calculating health metrics such as BPM, HRV, and stress index.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting app errors.

3. Apple HealthKit Integration
With your explicit permission, HeartRate Guard may read from or write data to the Apple HealthKit database. This allows you to centralize your health data within the Apple ecosystem. All HealthKit data remains on your device and is never transferred to external servers. Furthermore, we do not use any information gained through the HealthKit framework for advertising, marketing, or similar service-based efforts.

We utilize trusted third-party SDKs to support app operations and marketing efforts. These partners process data according to their own policies:

- Access & Export: You can view your health logs and history directly within the app.
- Rectification: You can modify or update your physical profile (height/weight) and manual logs at any time.
- Erasure: You can delete all locally stored data by clearing the app data or uninstalling the application.
- Revoke Consent: You can manage or withdraw permissions for Camera access and Apple HealthKit integration through your iPhone's System Settings at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the relevant age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information from our records and local storage immediately.
